Nothing is worse than being on outcast, than being two halves of a whole and yet having no place of your own. For the hybrids of the vampire world, those who were born of a human mother and vampire father, there is no place. They don’t belong in the human world and are not accepted in the vampire world. So what do they do? They decide to create their own coven and they’re willing to fight to get the acceptance they so desperately want. At the same time, it seems the hunt for the children of the room has relaxed, causing a sudden burst in the birth rate. Now, these real vampires find the need to fight for new territory, against the shape-shifters who keep the town of Forks, Washington safe. The Cullen’s were getting ready to move again, when all of a sudden they got news of not only the children of the moon, but these half-breeds who have a score to settle. Now, they have teamed up with the children on the moon to fight for what they believe is theirs. If the Cullen’s can’t figure this out soon, they may have to join forces with the Volturi, which is the last thing any of them want to do. With the humans unaware and an eminent battle on their hands they have to figure out what’s to live or to die for
