Bella was sitting on the couch, reading. The house was oddly quiet, especially with so many people in it and with hearing like hers. A book was resting gently in her hands, open to a page that Bella had been staring at for the last half hour. Her concentration was simply non-existent today. She was listening for any sign of life in the house. Waiting for someone to entertain her. She said nothing and looked nowhere but at the page of her book. She heard gentle footsteps from the floor above her, and she considered looking up, but she knew she'd see nothing. Finally she broke the contact with the page, thinking if her eyes bore at it any longer, the book was certain to burst into flames.
The skies opened up outside, allowing the sun to peek through the windows. The sunlight touched Bella, allowing her skin to sparkle. She looked at it, watching it cast rainbows of color in the air. The spectrums of color danced around the room, hitting the mirror and reflecting the light right back to Bella. She smiled, remembering how great it felt to be where she was: with the people she loved.

He knocked on the door after doing some exploration had found his old friends after years ago and just waited for someone to answer the door because of needing a break. Ben hadn't meant to leave Tia ever just going year after year without meeting anyone new and always being in that desert was too crazy. The young man was dressed in a white dress shirt and blue jeans with a smile because at least here we're people that liked to have some sort of fun. His previous earlier experience with meeting a werewolf was enough to drive him crazy and couldn't wait to fight one that went a little too far. Werewolves they made good warriors not much of anything else and just looked at the door waiting for someone to come to it.
