 Soon after the events that occurred in Breaking Dawn, the Cullens left Forks and headed for Alaska. They had remained in Forks for just a little too long, and the tension had become a little more than desired. They lived comfortably with the Denali clan for only about 26 years, and they are unexpectedly returning. Much too early. This is all Jacob's doing, of course. Strong family ties will not allow him to remain away from La Push for much longer, and so the family has agreed to return with him, under the condition that they will not come into contact with the human residents of Forks, under any circumstances, for fear of being recognized. But this time, however, the clan has grown even larger, in the shape of Jacob and Renesmee's young son and daughter. If there had been an uproar when Bella, a human, became pregnant with a vampire child, you should have seen the raucous that was caused when a vampire and shape-shifter had children! Fortunately, there was little to worry about, and it was not entirely unexpected. The son simply displayed more traits of a shape-shifter, while the daughter displayed more traits of a vampire. They appear entirely human in every way. Unfortunately, the Volturi is absolutely livid at the sudden increase of Cullens, and feel threatened. They will stop at nothing to take the Forks clan down a peg. Fortunately for them, humans have been disappearing the Hoh Forest more rapidly than usual, giving them reason to check up on their little friends. And this time, a conflict may not be avoided...
